Will you then consider that this team is better than the team left behind and play them against Arsenal ?

Judging by what he's had to say about Europa, I can see us throwing a lead away again. Can understand why he wants to focus on the PL, but I'd love us to have a proper go tomorrow.

This could be a bad night for Slaven. If we think back to the crucifixion that we gave Sam for playing kids in English cup games, why would we regard anything less than the strongest team in Romania any differently?
Certainly puts the presure on him at the Emirates: lose both games and he'll be entitled to some stick.

We were all over them until the red card and should have been 4 up. We can still do it. If the kids perform, brilliant. It's part of the reason I'd love us to stay in Europe - we don't have a massive squad, the extra games can be used to develop Oxford, Burke, henry, Lee etc

I am sure the manager knows what he is doing. he gets paid a 7 figure salary to do this day in day out. Have some belief, its another great opportunity for the young ones to get good experience and a run out.
We have Arsenal away first game of the season, you cant expect us to bow down to them. The competition to take the most seriously is the Premier League and our best players play in the best competition. We may surprise people and pick up some points.

I don't believe it will need to be miracle.
They have been leaking goals home and away at a very decent rate in their league so far.
Get on them and press and grab a quick goal and its all to play for. Our players know that we have little to lose and places in the side yet to win.
Not my favourite situation but why give up before it starts.
